The apartment was very stylishly decorated, well equiped and comfortable. The host left home made biscuits and items for breakfast, which was a nice and helpful touch. The host was also communicative, responding quickly to queries. Salvatore lived downstairs and was present when we arrived to let us in and show us around.
We note that the apartment is a little out of Tirano, a bit far by foot. This was clear in the description of the apartment and was not a problem for us (there is a good pizzeria two minutes walk away). There is a bus (7min trip, Salvatore kindly sent a timetable) which was running hourly, but we just missed this and had a fair amount of luggage so we made the short trip by taxi.

Paisagens lindas na Villa di Tirano. Sossegado e um bom sítio para descansar. Obrigada ao host por nos ter ido buscar à estação e levado para o apartamento quando não havia comboios nem autocarros muito menos uber.
Praticamente nenhuma atração perto. Durante o mês de julho até setembro não há comboios por isso acabamos por ter que fazer 1h a pé com malas até à estação mais próxima. Não tem grandes infraestruturas mas deu para descansar.
