Studio Cozy au cœur des Carmes

The location is very good, in the old part of the city, about 20 minutes' walk from the Capitole and 10 minutes on foot from the cathedral. The studio flat is small and rather basic, with a sofa bed, but reasonably comfortable and good value for money.

It felt slightly claustrophobic, as there is just one small window, looking into a rather gloomy courtyard. The kitchen was rather sparsely equipped - no kettle, and no coffee cups or mugs. No instructions for how to use any of the appliances - the cooker, the tv or the coffee-making machine. The wooden staircase is immediately outside and the walls seemed thin, so noise was sometimes a problem late at night and early in the morning.
