It takes a while to adjust to an older style home but once you are staying there for a few nights - you love it! The location is great, it is central - perfect if you are there for the JSC tournament.
I thought it would be noisey on the main road but it’s not. Whanganui is a quiet town that doesn’t get busy like cities.

The small welcoming gifts and information from the Host.
The position of the key safe. It was too low for easy access and having two (one not working) was confusing.

the house was clean and well equipped except for the comments below
2 of us are in our 80s and couldnt have a shower because there was no grab rail to assist in getting in or out of the [bath] shower. Likewise a hand rail at the door to assist going in or out would be most appreciated. also the lock box being a little higher would be helpful, getting up and down at our age is not that easy [83 & 85 yrs old] definitely would stay for longer period if the additions were in place
