Durie Vale Retreat - Spa Pool, Scenic View, BBQ, Sky TV

We had a wonderful stay. Our host was lovely and welcoming, made sure we had everything we needed, and pointed us towards some local spots we really enjoyed. The house was clean, comfortable and very well equipped, with everything we needed and more. The photos are very accurate, it really is a beautiful and cosy spot. We especially loved sitting out on the deck at breakfast, listening to the native birds and occasionally hearing the lambs in the paddocks across the way. They were far enough away that they were never intrusive, but added such a lovely country feel to the stay. We also appreciated how thoughtfully everything was set up for guests. We hope to come back and stay again!

Well presented and comfortable, Kitchen well equipped

The spa was unable to be used which was disappointing

We loved our stay here yet again! Lovely hosts (David and Cassandra) so friendly and always good to chat too. The home is spacious, warm and wonderful! It feels like a home away from home, with everything you could possibly need! Comfortable beds, and great shower too! We really enjoyed spending time on the deck relaxing and in the spa pool! So peaceful and yet not far from the main shops either! Very happy, we love staying here!

Nice place

Owner wasn’t nice was very rude they judged me by the colour of my skin I ended up leaving much earlier than I wanted and when I was leaving the owner stoped us jumped in front of our car as I was leaving and asked why we were leaving I told him that we had to to get home to our kids but it was really cause we felt uncomfortable do not recommend this spot if your from Wanganui
