    A no frills hotel. A stone's throw to the MRT and railway stations. Friendly staff. Facilities looked very clean.

    高尾駅から近い場所ですが　少し大通りから入っているので　静かで落ち着けます。ホテルの前が　運河なので　窓の外が開けていて　良かったです。

    For some reason, the room I stayed at smelled like cigarettes (ironically, it's a non-smoking hotel). It was so bad that I really couldn't sleep, and the smell also stuck to my clothes. If you really need a budget hotel to stay at, you may try this one as it is close to the Kaohsiung main station. If your nose is not as sensitive as mine, it's still okay. Some specific rooms is really not good, because the room my friends stayed in smelled better (but their toilet flush water pressure was not strong), so I suggest you book earlier so that you get the good rooms at cheaper rates. Bath water was hot, it was okay. There was a working refrigerator. I think everything else was really tolerable, although everything was old, just all except for the smell of the room, but it bothers me too much that I cannot sleep. I mean what's the point of booking a hotel if you cannot sleep in it :(
