    Pege is a small boutique hotel on a quiet side-street. Omar and his staff were very welcoming and most helpful. The room, while not large, was very comfortable and had everything we needed, including storage space and a fridge. We had a twin room, but they pushed the beds together for us. The “memory foam” mattress took a couple of nights to get used to, but then it was quite cozy to sink into your wee nest after a busy day. Omar was very helpful in booking attractions and transport for us. Situated right in the heart of Sultanahmet, the Spice Bazaar, the Grand Bazaar and the Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, as well as the Basilica Cistern were all within 10 minutes walk - we could not have asked for a better location. We stayed here for a week & fully recommend the Pege Hotel.

    I had a great stay at this hotel! The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area, walking distance to mosques-Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Basilica Cistern and of course if your are visiting Istanbul for shopping, Grand Bazaar is less than 10 minutes walk. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. The host, Omer, was wonderful, always ready to help and even provided great recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit. Overall, a fantastic experience—I would definitely stay here again!
