We loved our stay here. After the madness of Tokyo, Kyoto and more we were ready for some peace and tranquility!! The location on the beach and the quirky room with the bed on a platform with a window over the sea was really special. Windsurfers and dog walkers from dawn enjoying the beach. There are only 5 rooms (3double/family) and two single so it’s tiny and quiet. The showers and provided products were the best we have experienced in our 4 weeks in Japan. The staff were welcoming and attentive and the food and atmosphere were great. They provide two options for breakfast so do check in with them as we were given an amazing Japanese Breakfast the first morning which wasn’t to our own taste and they made us a delicious Scrambled egg, sausages and toast with juice the other mornings. It was easy to reach by train to Kamakura Station and then a 5 minute bus from the station to the top of the road. We hired e-bikes by the station for a full day for Yen2,000and went exploring. Could have done two days and used the bikes for our ENOSHIMA day too! There is so much to see and lots of beautiful temples and shrines along with great shops and atmosphere here. Would recommend two or 3 days. A highlight of our trip.

There was nothing I didn’t like. I had been concerned at first not having en suite. But the facilities were so good and right next to the rooms so we didn’t meet any other guests when using them. We were all on our own timetables.

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast provided was good. The amenities were very modern, great shower.

No natural airflow, claustrophobic feel in a room with an upper platform and bed with a window that shows the sea yet is completely locked.
