About this cottage rental

You'll find cross-country skiing, hiking and biking trails, and more on site at this ski-in/ski-out cottage. With convenient onsite parking, you'll be ready to make the 9-minute drive to Sortland Museum or the 21-minute drive to Hurtigrutemuseet.

    The property is well appointed and very nicely curated in a beautiful setting. The proprietor is very friendly and extremely helpful. For us it served as a very nice base while we explored the area for a few days. What is not immediately obvious from the photos is that this property is right next door to the owner's house which really limits your privacy somewhat. It is also located next to farmland (which is pastoral and beautiful) but during our stay they fertilized the fields so we couldn't spend any time outside on the lovely back patio or open the windows. Not the Owner's fault of course, but something to bear in mind. We would also suggest that the linens be updated somewhat. Given the price we were paying we would have hoped for something a little less "family summer house" quality. As compared with other hotels in the area however, we would stay there again.
