Staying at this hotel in the winter (off season) was not ideal. Too much snow, parking challenging, and hotel office closed. Room was fine, but no view of the lake. My room key didn’t work on my last day, so staff had to re-issue a new key. For winter, I recommend staying 7 miles north in town..Grand Marie…where there are more guests, better overall parking, access to businesses and customer service.

Love the location right on the lake and view from the bedroom. Suite was clean, fireplace is wonderful.

The staff was so friendly here, the view of the water was an incredible way to wake daily and the proximity to all of what the north shore has to offer is perfect for a family trip.
