Located close to downtown. Clean comfortable room with a beautiful view of lake superior. If it hadn't been off season the sites would have been spectacular but we knew that it was off season. I can't wait to stay there during the summer months. We were able to take the ferry to Madeline Island and that was quite the experience since there was open water but also a lot of ice.
Due to the time of the year it was not as busy and a lot of businesses were closed or open during the week and it was a weekend when we stayed.

Easy check in and drove right up to our room, beautiful view
Wish there had been a coffee pot in the room as we are very early risers and the office wasn't open for coffee before we left each day

The location was great. The view is beautiful as well.
The rooms are pretty small. It would be cramped with more than 2 people.
