Great location,decent hotel with helpful bilingual staff. .But both rooftop and lobby bars were inoperative and breakfast was to be missed

Hotel Madi is a beautiful boutique hotel. It has a cute rooftop with a small heated pool and an amazing view of San Miguel church. The music is nice and chill and the bar/bartender is a great bonus.
The hotel is artfully designed and the rooms have high ceilings. It’s clean. The beds are comfortable although mine did creak when I moved. The washroom is big and the large walk in shower has plenty of hot water and good water pressure.
There are some cool art pieces on each floor including the grand sculpture in the courtyard.
Breakfast is ok. Could be improved.
The staff are great: polite, respectful and responsive.
The biggest con for me is that sound echos from the hallways into the room and I can hear my neighbours footsteps (with shoes on and bare feet stomping) above me, which woke me up in the wee hours of the morning. I’m a light sleeper so heavy sleepers may not even notice this.

Our group had a fantastic stay at this hotel with good facilities, including cozy pool on roof and clean rooms. The central location made it easy to explore on foot, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The overall cleanliness was impeccable, ensuring a comfortable stay. The transport options nearby were convenient, most of the tourist attraction at almost walkable distance, making it easy to get around without worry. We enjoyed our time at the property.
