The staff was very helpful and the rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. It was noisy at night. Everything else was lovely.

Meson Hidalgo was more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel. There was no amenities nor lounge area in the property other than your own room. If there was even just a tiny place to sit or have breakfast outside of room, that would have been better. Our room was as charming as shown in the picture, but quite old and smelled very musty which we were taken aback at first. Although, the bed was comfortable an the location was excellent - it was a good place to come back just to sleep. The staff is there only in the daytime and available via whatsupp rest of the time of the day when we need help.

Dulce was a fantastic host at Meson Hidalgo! She and the staff were timely in answering our lodging questions and helped coordinate additional transportation services and dining recommendations throughout the town of San Migue de Allende. Breakfast was timely ever day and room cleaned quickly.
