Overall super hotel. We had a very comfortable stay. Very good location. Didn’t know about an additional city tax at the time of booking.

Its a bit far from the downtown, Chain bridge etc. You need to get an Uber each time as metro station is not close either.
We had a great stay and would highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the breakfast offered a good variety of options. The reception team and all hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and very polite.
This was our second visit to Budapest, and we enjoyed it even more thanks to the hotel's high standards.
Our only disappointment was the lack of complimentary water (in the room) and basic amenities such as slippers, a toothbrush, and toothpaste. For the price and as a chain hotel, we expected these standard extras. There was a note that they have some extra goodies at the reception desk but thats not nice. These should be already in the room available for anyone want to use them.

Very disappointing room allocation. We booked a double room for two people and specifically requested a double bed, but were given two single beds pushed together, with two separate single duvets. This is not what I would consider a proper double bed.
What made it more frustrating was that our friend, who was travelling with us but booked separately through a different booking platform, also requested a room with a double bed. Despite staying alone, our friend was given a proper double bed, while the two of us were given two single beds pushed together.
We did not raise the issue during the stay, but the difference only became more disappointing when we compared the rooms. If a room is booked as a double room with a double bed, I would expect an actual double bed rather than a twin-bed setup pushed together, especially when proper double beds were clearly available in the hotel.
And i have a skin allergy reaction to the bedding.
