Our stay was great but room was hot not possible to leave Windows open, due to rain coming inside room. The area has things to offer for sightseeing but 1 full day would have been enough to explore anything near by.

This castle was just as described! Lots of castles in the area to visit and trails for hiking. Really enjoyed the countryside!

What a fascinating property-a chance to sleep in a historic castle!
The property has been well renovated: the rooms are large & have luxury features…..like heated bathroom floors!!
The breakfast buffett was huge - I loved the festive tree-shaped scrambled egg molds.
We loved exploring the common rooms & seeing all the historic furniture.
