Sylvie is an excellent host. She received us, guided us to our room, and even got us a reservation for the best restaurant in town. The place is perfectly located near the center of the town.

This is a gorgeous home with two self-contained guest rooms that serve as the ideal base from which to explore Beuvron-en-Auge. The room was comfortable and tasteful, with its own desperate toilet and shower room. Sylvie is a very helpful host and made a lot of effort to ensure my partner and I had all the information we needed for our visit, despite our lack of French. The breakfast provided was excellent. Croissants, bread, cheese, jam and fruit. Beuvron-en-Auge is a small, beautiful village and this was the perfect place to stay for one night as we drove through Normandy.

The house was nice, the host and breakfast was good. The room is small, no chair / sitting area, can't accommodate 2 luggages, no common area, no refrigerator. Fell like being restricted.

They did not tell me that the roads were up around the village and it was impossible to get to the place . This was a DDay night before stay so it was emotionally important couldn’t if get them by phone . Went to tourist info and they told me it was impossible after 2 hours of trying . Luckily I managed to get a cancellation in Caen as all hotels were sold out , if we hadn’t we would have had to sleep in our car . Awful

We had a warm welcome from our hostess, Sylvie on arrival at this exceptional property on the edge of the picture-postcard medieval village of Beuvron-en-Auge in the heart of the Pays d’Auge in Normandy. Our ground floor room was attractive in white and pale greys with lovely cotton pillows duvet on a wonderfully comfortable queen-sized bed. This area is rich in verdant peace and tranquility with orchards full of apple blossom (at end of April), calm Normande cattle or race horses in the meadows and wild flowers and orchids blooming in the verges. Sylvie and her husband Pascal have created a garden and home where fresh flowers abound. The morning sun streams through the cottage windows at breakfast where Sylvie dresses her dining table beautifully with a different colour theme each day. In the evening, if not cloudy, there is a sunset view from the loungers sited at the top of the garden. But back to breakfast, which was a varied selection of local produce, much of which we hadn't experienced before - the excellent 'cremeux orange,' perfect lemon curd and jams, a croissant in baguette form and a whole range of local breads - with local apple juice. Plus good coffee and a variety of teas, a voyage of Norman petit déjeuner discovery! Sylvie refreshed our room and provided new mineral water every day and was so helpful with information about places to go - including lunch at an outstanding restaurant, Au P'tit Normand at Cambremer. Truly memorable! Merci, madame!
