We chose this hotel for its close location to the crab market and the restaurants. It is also very close to the small peer where local fisherman anchor their fishing boats. In the early morning, you can see the peer becomes a small fresh market for the fishermen to sell fish, crabs and other seafood they catch from the sea. However, the hotel is a bit under maintenance. For in stance the bathroom has no shower curtain and it becomes all wet after taking shower. The water served in the guest room is not sealed bottled water but serve in a glass bottle. For sanitation reason, we bought bottle water from outside.

Nice stay at Sabbay, and wish we stayed an extra night! The staff were friendly and allowed us an early check in and prepared us breakfast at 7am, earlier than the usual 7.30am as we had to catch the 7.30am bus. Then room and toilet were spacious and clean. TV was small but we did not use it. The pool was clean. The rooftop bar was quiet on a weekday night and warm, so we did not have a drink there.
Great location - walking distance to restaurants, motorbike rental and crab market.
Highly recommended!

Absolutely perfect beach-front stay! The wide rooms were spacious, the swimming pool was a delight, and I especially loved being so close to the Crab Market. A thoughtful touch was the use of wonderful locally made toiletries.

It seems like it used to be a nice place but our room was definitely in need of renovations. Had a strong mouldy smell as we walked in and lots of mosquitoes. Staff were nice but always difficult to find. Good location next to crab restaurants and market. Nice sea breeze at breakfast.
