Galapera Hotel

As a solo traveler attending a conference, I stayed at this hotel for seven days and found it to be a comfortable and welcoming place overall. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which made the check-in process smooth and set a positive tone for the rest of my stay. The housekeeping service was also reliable and attentive. Each day, the staff came by to collect trash and checked in to see if I needed any room cleaning. It was a small but thoughtful gesture that made the stay feel more personal and well cared for. One of the hotel’s biggest strengths is its location. It is conveniently situated close to several key attractions, including the iconic Galata Tower, and is roughly a 25-minute trip from Rams Park (Galatasaray Stadium). This makes it a great base for both sightseeing and attending events around the city. That said, there is an important limitation to keep in mind: the hotel does not have an elevator or escalator. This could make it less suitable for elderly guests or anyone with mobility difficulties.

Hi, We specifically asked for a room with a window and the one we got was without window. On top of it, the cleaning was very bad and not safe for kids.

I stayed in this hotel for 14 days and my evaluation of it is that I do not recommend it to anyone at all and I do not consider it a hotel in any way and this is what happened to me: 1. Upon my arrival, I was not accommodated in the hotel, but they told me to stay in a residential building far from the hotel. 2. The first situation that happened to me was that I woke up more than once every day at dawn to the sounds of drunk people climbing the stairs and frightening me and my wife, and when I complained, they told me that the problem would be solved, but it was not solved and remained for the entire period. 3. I returned on my third night and found the entire room filled with water, as there was a very difficult water leak in the room because the water pipe broke, and if it were not for fate that I arrived at the right time to the room, all my luggage would have been flooded with water. 4. Then only two days later my wife and I woke up at 2 am to be surprised by water falling on us on the bed and the entire room as the same leak happened in the room above us and this led to water falling from the ceiling of our room and we were forced to change our room and move all our luggage as soon as possible as the room became unusable and no one helped us in the moving process as they told us that we should help ourselves 5. Three days later they asked us to return to our old room which was unusable because someone else had booked our room and after we objected to that we were treated in the worst possible way by the reception and the owner of the place and his manager and they told us that we would be evicted from the room and we were moved from it against our will and we found that the ceiling of our old room was completely destroyed. I do not recommend this hotel at all and what happened in it during my stay is a farce to say the least and please note that there is no cleaning of the room nor any service provided and the hot water is very weak in the room and the walls transmit sounds in an annoying way لقد أقمت في هذا الفندق لمدة ١٤ يوم و تقييمي له اني لا ارشحه اطلاقا لاي شخص و لا اعتبره اوتيل باي شكل من الأشكال و هذا ما حدث معي : ١. فور وصولي لم تسكن في الفندق بل قالو لي أن اسكن في عمارة سكنية بعيدا عن الاوتيل ٢. اول موقف حدث معى أن كنت استيقظ يوميا أكثر من مره فى الفجر على أصوات الناس السكراء و هم يصعدون السلم و يفزعونى أنا و زوجتى و عندما قمت بالشكوى ابلغوني بأن المشكلة ستحل و لم تحل و بقت طول المدة ٣. عدت في ثالث ليلة لي وجدت الغرفة بأكملها ممتلئة بالمياه حيث حدث تسريب مياه فى الغرفة صعب جدا بسبب أن ماسورة المياه كسرت و لولا القدر انى قدمت فى الوقت المناسب للغرفة كانت جميع امتعتى غرقت بالماء ٤. ثم بعدها بيومين فقط استيقظت انا و زوجتى الساعه الثانيه صباحا لنتفاجأا بالمياه تتساقط فوقنا على السرير و على الغرفة بالكامل حيث أن نفس التسريب حدث في الغرفة اعلي منا و أدى ذلك لسقوط المياه من سقف غرفتنا و اضطررنا أن نقوم بتغيير غرفتنا و نقل جميع أمتعتنا فى اسرع وقت ممكن حيث أن الغرفة أصبحت غير صالحة للاستخدام و لم يساعدنا اي شخص في عملية النقل حيث أنهم أخبرونا بأنه يجب أن نساعد أنفسنا ٥. طلبوا منا بعد ذلك بثلاث ايام العودة لغرفتنا القديمة الغير صالحة للاستخدام بسبب حجز شخص آخر غرفتنا و بعد أن اعترضتا علي ذلك عوملنا باسوء صورة ممكنة من الاستقبال و مالك المكان و مديره و أخبرونا أننا سنطرد من الغرفة و نقلنا منها بخارج إرادتنا ووجدنا أن سقف غرفتنا القديمة مدمر بالكامل. هذا الاوتيل لا انصح به اطلاقا و ما حدث به طوال فترة إقامتي اقل ما يقال عنه أنه مهزلة و برجاء العلم أنه لا يوجد تنظيف للغرفة ولا اي خدمة لها تقدم و المياه الساخنة ضعيفة للغاية في الغرفة و الحوائط تنقل الاصوات بصورة مزعجة
