We got lucky! Headed to volcano but traffic around area of volcano was not appetizing so we stayed here. Such a lucky choice! Staff was top drawer. Property is beautiful. Private individuals cabins.

The resort is situated in a rain forest with natural hot spring. I was so happy to be surrounded by nature. I hiked on the trails within the property and enjoyed the hot springs every day. The food was also very delicious. Also did a free yoga class.

Chachagua is so unique. It is located in a rainforest with access to a hot spring. We did a night walk and saw many interesting things. They also offers a free daytime walk and they let us stay after checkout for it. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Food is delicious.

It’s a nice hotel but I got a bit disappointed, the cover photo with the pool is actually a private bungalow pool and not for everyone. Also the food at the restaurant is pretty average and overpriced. Other than that, it’s a nice jungle setting and the hot springs are in a great natural setting and have fun slides. The river is refreshing and there are some trails around the property. Overall It’s nice but a bit out of the way from La Fortuna.
