    The venue is in the centre of Newton-Le-Willows, right near the train station and the centre of town. The rooms are lovely, but there aren't many facilities, think hotel pub rather than hotel pool. But what is provided is excellent, food is good, beer is good, cocktails are fricking fantastic. The only reason for the two stars is the lack of facilities, not the quality of those provided.

    Hotel is on a main road, which has nice bars and little cafes. Terrance was very welcoming at reception and other staff at the bar just as accommodating. Rooms are good value and the beds are very comfortable. Only thing to note are the church bells, which are a lovely alarm clock for you on a Sunday morning.

    Stayed in room 10 advertised on Agoda as having a bathtub which it didn’t have , it’s 21.50 and the noise from the live band in the downstairs bar is much to loud and is keeping me awake even after a few drinks. I have called down to reception to complain but they haven’t turned it down . I cannot submit a video to show the noise but if you’re not intending on getting drunk or staying out late I would give this hotel a miss.
