The hotel is very pleasant and rooms are a great size. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The cleaning staff need some coaching and improvement. If I am in Regensburg, I will definitely stay here again. The breakfast was also very delicious.

I enjoyed my 3 night stay as a tourist visiting Regensburg for the first time. The receptionist gave me a map on my first night and pointed out a brewery/beer garden on the Danube which I ended up eating (and drinking) in for all three nights. The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. I picked this hotel because I arrived by train and it’s a simple 10 minute walk from the main train station. I was especially impressed by the delicious breakfast every morning - really above and beyond what I expected! The only other comment I have, and it’s not a “con” because this is a 5 star review, is that it is situated about 20 - 30 minutes by foot from the medieval, historic center and the river. This wasn’t a problem for me, but don’t expect to have a lot of touristic stuff right next to the hotel. On the plus side the walk to the historic area is through a beautiful, tree-lined park adjacent to the hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel for a quiet and comfortable visit.
