What a fantastic place! This Knights Templar-themed guesthouse is so cool. Great communication from the people who run it-- there is no front desk (it is just a house with 5 rooms) but call before you get there and someone will meet you. In addition, they sent me a message with the code for a keybox so we could arrive and get in our room before the representative (Miriam, so welcoming and friendly) arrived. Incredible views of the region from the terraces. A/C exists but is weak; better to open the windows at night as it cools down. I do really wish they had fans; would recommend you bring a small plug-in fan if it's July or August. For the very reasonable price, though, this was a great deal. If you are on a road trip across Spain, this little house in this adorable town is worth at least a day.
The town is ridiculously charming! Walk its old streets going uphill to the olive groves between the town and the castle-- so many beautiful old houses. We also saw pigs in the olive groves, which was awesome.
