This property is very esthetic! Lots of nice touches to the room including record player with records, yummy mints, reading nooks and cute decorations. Unfortunately, the check-in experience wasn’t great. We didn’t know (till the day of) that this is a virtual check-in experience. It wasn’t easy and we had to wait and jump through hoops to get checked in. Parking was sparse, but we were lucky to find a street spot that didn’t require a permit. I could see this being a problem though. Lastly, there weren’t any pillows provided for our kids sleeping on the pull out bed. They seemed annoyed that we wanted pillows for them instead of giving them the pillows we were going to use on the big bed. They did provide them in the end, but it was obvious they didn’t want to have to send someone out to do this.
Some positives: the beds were very comfortable and all was quiet. The water tasted good too! And the speakeasy was super cute as well. I would stay again, but beware of the check-in issues.

In all our years of travel, absolutely the best hidden gem of a hotel we’ve ever come across. The restaurant, the staff, the speakeasy, the reading lounge, the location. The perfect hotel for ALL our needs. We will be back. You can not go here just once.
