Hotel San Lorenzo - Adults Only

I enjoyed my stay overall. The hotel is lovely, with classic décor, a beautiful pool area, and plenty of character. While I appreciate its timeless style, I do think the interiors could benefit from a thoughtful refresh. There is so much potential here, and with a few carefully considered design touches, the hotel could feel far more luxurious while still retaining its charm. The biggest issue was that the hotel appeared to be significantly understaffed. The staff were friendly, professional, and worked incredibly hard, but it was obvious they were covering multiple roles at once. I actually felt guilty asking for a drink by the pool because the staff member was so busy, so I walked to the supermarket instead. Poolside service would really elevate the guest experience, but more importantly, the hotel needs to invest in more staff to support both its employees and guests. I stayed in a suite with a terrace, and the space itself was fantastic. As someone with an eye for design, I couldn’t help but notice how much more could be done with it. It wouldn’t take a major renovation—just thoughtful styling, better attention to detail, and a more cohesive design approach to transform it into something really special. Overall, this is a hotel with huge potential. With better staffing and a refined design vision, it could easily become an outstanding destination.
