    If you are looking for a bufget hotel in the middle of old quarter, this is a good choice for you. They have a spacious room and friendly staff. Aside from that, they have a good breakfast which is two minute walk from the hotel. The only thing that they need to improve is their wifi, it’s very slow. Also, we tried to go out around 11pm to buy some food but we can’t because the main door is locked and the receptionist were sleeping in the lobby. Overall, I can recommend this hotel.

    What made this place so nice to stay was the staff! We were always welcomed with a smile which really makes such a difference. We had a larger room with windows so we had plenty of room to spread out as we stayed for 7 nights. The room had a couch as well which was very convenient. What stood out for us was the reception desk, as we had a number of parcels delivered, both during our stay and after, and they held on to them for us without any issues.

    We chose Silk Hanoi Moment Hotel & Spa based on its positive reviews and online photos, but unfortunately our experience was completely different from what we expected. We arrived at almost 11:00 PM after a long journey, hoping for a smooth check-in and a comfortable place to rest. Instead, we were surprised by how small the reception area was. To make a poor first impression even worse, there was a cockroach in the lobby when we arrived. Our rooms were assigned on the 6th and 7th floors. Although there is an elevator, it does not provide direct access to these rooms. We still had to carry our luggage up a very narrow flight of stairs. The only staff member on duty kindly helped us with our bags, and we appreciated his assistance, but it was evident that the hotel was understaffed at that hour. The elevator itself is extremely small, and after getting off, guests must pass through another narrow corridor and staircase before reaching the rooms. Moving luggage through these tight spaces was difficult and inconvenient. This setup would be particularly challenging for elderly guests, families with children, or anyone with mobility concerns. The hotel’s online photos create the impression of a much more spacious and accessible property. The actual layout was a complete surprise and did not reflect our expectations. Because of our experience, we decided to look for another hotel that same night. Although we had already fully paid for a three-night stay, we will be checking out tomorrow and forfeiting the remaining nights because we do not feel comfortable staying here. While we appreciate the courtesy and effort of the staff member who assisted us, the physical condition, accessibility, and overall first impression of the hotel fell far short of what was advertised. We hope management provides a more accurate representation of the property so future guests can make an informed decision before booking.
