Gurney's Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa

I visited Gurney’s Montauk for a quiet retreat to honor my son Amir on what would have been his 18th birthday. The oceanfront setting was beautiful and gave me the peaceful space I needed to reflect on his love for the ocean. The reservations team kindly linked my bookings and upgraded my additional night so I could remain in the same room throughout my stay. That thoughtful gesture meant more to me than they could have known. The beautiful ocean view, relaxing beach, BathHouse experience, and welcoming service made my stay restorative and deeply meaningful. I left feeling grateful for the care and kindness shown to me.

This hotel is the place to stay in Montauk. They have their own designer boutique, hotel always smells amazing staff the best, the beach amazing beach chairs Gabana. You can’t go wrong with this place and their restaurant is so good you have to go when you stay there.

Would never stay again, resort fees charged on top of an already expensive stay, without us knowing. Weddings the two nights we stayed which were extremely loud and prevented us from sleeping. Rooms felt cheap.

Stayed here for a night. Checked in a received a room in a category below what we booked and had dead flies in the room. Had to sit on the phone for 30 minutes just to get another room. Get to the new room and the shower handle was broken. Had a car service that is supposed to bring you into town whenever you want supposedly. Had no problem getting to the town, but whenever we called for the car to come back it was always an issue. They told us the cars don’t run from 3-5pm but we were dropped off in the car at 330pm. Then the next morning told us the cars don’t run all morning until 1pm. Both times someone magically became available to pick us up and they were nasty on the phone and had to talk to a manager. Not worth it at all.
