The Inn is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are a nice size and clean and the staff is nice and accommodating. The restaurant is great!

I was attending events in Swarthmore, so this place was in an ideal location. There is ample parking, with a nice restaurant as well as the college bookstore on site. There are other little shops across the street, and it is at the edge of the Swarthmore College Campus. Considering the above, the place is in a convenient location. The room attendants were more cordial than some of the desk agents. I didn't encounter anyone rude, it's just I have stayed in lots of hotels where the desk agents are attentive and acknowledge you as you come and go. However, of concern is the inoperable elevator. The elevator has been out of service since before my last stay over 18 months prior. Fortunately I only had a carry-on, and I'm active, so taking the stairs was not a huge issue for me, but it could be for someone who has mobility impairment or has lots of heavy luggage. The agents did ask upon check-in if I needed assistance but I declined. In spite of the elevator matter, I was pleased to stay here.

If you are visiting the college this location is excellent. Easy access to the train and Center City. This place will be my first choice when we are in the area again.
