대만에서 묵었던 호텔 중 지금까지 가장 만족스러웠던 숙소입니다. 가장 인상 깊었던 점은 직원들의 친절함이었습니다. 대만 날씨가 너무 더워서 체크인 전에 땀을 많이 흘린 상태였는데, 아직 체크인 시간이 되지 않았음에도 직원분들이 샤워할 수 있는 공간을 따로 마련해 주셨습니다. 호텔을 드나들 때마다 프런트 직원분들이 먼저 인사해 주셨고, 이런 세심한 서비스는 일반적인 4성급 호텔에서도 쉽게 느끼기 어려운 부분이라고 생각합니다. 객실은 정말 넓었고, 특별한 전망은 없었지만 채광이 좋아 답답하지 않았습니다. 무료 음료와 간식도 준비되어 있었고, 특히 어메니티 향이 정말 좋았습니다. 핸드워시와 바디워시 향이 고급스럽고 사용 후에도 기분이 좋았습니다. 비데도 사용하기 편하고 만족스러웠습니다. 타이중 시내 자체가 크지 않아서 위치도 매우 좋았습니다. 캐리어를 끌고 타이중역까지 이동했는데도 약 10분 정도라 불편하지 않았습니다. 타이중 제2시장은 도보 약 7~8분 정도이고, 호텔 맞은편에는 유명한 대만 샌드위치 가게가 있습니다. 주변 골목에는 분위기 좋은 카페도 많고 편의점도 쉽게 찾을 수 있습니다. 친절한 서비스, 넓고 편안한 객실, 좋은 위치까지 모두 만족스러웠던 호텔입니다. 타이중 여행을 계획하는 분들에게 적극 추천하고 싶습니다.

We booked Blue Sky as we were leaving Alishan due to evacuation due to heavy rainfall. We were so sad to leave Alishan but when we stepped into our room, we were really happy with where we landed. The room was so big - we had two queen beds, a sitting area, and a bathroom with a western walled in shower and a clawfoot bathtub. It was spotless and quiet. The staff was kind of non-existent but that was fine. I can't speak to the location because we were never planning on going to Taichung but we did walk to the Harry Potter like candy store about 10 minutes away. There is construction next door but we never heard it, and we spent a lot of time in our room.

2nd time staying here. Conveniently located about 10 mins walk from Taichung train station without the hustle and bustle of traffic. Hong Rui Zhen and some cafes around if you do not want to travel too far for a small bite / coffee. TV can connect to Youtube and Netflix, internet speed is also pretty good. Will definitely return when I go to Taichung again!

My recent stay at this hotel was unfortunately marred by a few significant issues. Upon arrival, I was immediately met with a persistent moldy smell that permeated both the corridors and the room itself. This was an unwelcome first impression and a constant issue throughout my stay. While the beds were quite comfortable, providing a decent night's sleep, and the bathroom was spacious, the positive aspects largely ended there. The bathroom's cleanliness was a major concern. I found dusty window panes, moldy spots in various areas, and grime along the edges of the sink. These details point to a clear need for significant improvement in their housekeeping standards. Considering the price point of this hotel, I believe there are far better options available that offer superior value. The hotel is an older building situated in a neighborhood that feels dated and lacks vibrancy. Aside from a few small cafes and souvenir shops, there isn't much to see or do in the immediate vicinity. For future travelers, I would recommend exploring accommodations in a more modern area, such as a newly built hotel in the Xitun district. You will likely find a cleaner, more comfortable, and more engaging experience for a similar price.
