    This hotel location is superb. Near train and bus stations and few good Michelin restaurants nearby , walking distance. Although there isn’t much facilities, the room is clean & spacious. There are 2 washing machines & 2 dryers on the 13th floor but they closed at 10pm sharp. So do factor in if you are intending to wash the clothes.

    The rooms are v big n clean. They oso provide v good teas. The staff was v kind though we reached at almost 3am. For the price we paid, it is v value for $.

    If you are looking for a hotel close to the bus and HSR train then this is your hotel. Just walking distance. I would give a 5 but the aircon was terrible. The room was great but we went there July and it was so hot and the aircon is located in the hallway. It could not reach the bedroom so it’s hot. They provided 2 fans though but would not let us switch rooms.

    Pros: - location was convenient; you can take the TRA line to taichung city and walk about 9 mins from the train station - walkable distance to miyahara - really affordable - convenient stores nearby Cons: - check in time was only at 4pm when most hotels check in at 3pm - many rough sleepers around the area - housekeeping did not help arrange the bed properly; we spent 3d2n here and the bedsheet kept coming off the bed - there was an intermittent clicking sound from the toilet every once in a while; do note toilet floors are not antislip, easy to fall - not soundproof; on our first night, our neighbours kept going in and out of the room and it was rather loud
