Good hotel for the money and the location is very good

Bella luz keep rooms clean and it's establishment ,also provides complimentary coffee which is very good

Walkable to historical centre and lots of vendors. But poor communication - Agoda had the wrong phone number and the hotel did not respond to emails. Luckily the staff at my previous hotel found a working number and called to confirm my reservation. The hotel is situated on a loud, busy street with windows with open slits even when closed so you can hear trucks and cars often throughout the night. The plugs were, for some reason, in the middle of the wall, high up, so it was hard to charge things like our phones. There is no hot water. The bathroom was old and was unappealing so we did not even bother with the supposed "lukewarm" shower. The WiFi was spotty for my Android phone but worked alright for my iPhone friend. The aircon does work well though and overall, given the fact that so many places were booked due to the Shakira residence, this place made do for one quick night.

It is situated just about 20 minutes from the heart of Historic San Salvador. This makes it incredibly easy to explore the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace, and the vibrant local plazas without a long commute. ​Budget-Friendly: It hits the sweet spot for travelers who want to save money but are ready to move out of the "backpacker" bunk-bed phase. ​Final Thoughts ​If you are looking for luxury, this isn't it—but if you are looking for a clean, private, and well-located home base to explore the capital's history, Hotel Bella Luz does the job perfectly.
