Better than expected because they have refurbished since the property photos were taken. Basic room but clean and comfy. Stunning view of the waterfalls from our window. Bathroom door handle was loose and squeaky.

Gudvangen Budge Hotel is aptly named. The most I can say is that it was clean. The room is rudimentary at best: a few instant coffee sachets and no tea; one small pillow per person on an ok bed in a small room.
The one-night price of >$310.00 USD was beyond ridiculous for this second-floor micro room with nothing to recommend it.
I understand supply and demand; I also understand gouging.

We really appreciate the washer and dryer that is available to guests. Wonderful waterfall views from room. Windows open to let fresh air in. Beds are very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Staff are helpful and very nice!
