    Although the room showed its age, it had a pleasant retro styling. The reception was warm and I enjoyed the humble strolling garden in the back! If you don't mind the dated interiors, it's cheap luxury!

    This is a quality hotel in a good location. Perfect for our reason to visit Kokura. The staff were kind and the complimentary coffee was great! Only down side was the room we were first given smelled badly of cigarettes and we had to ask to change rooms.They really should have a no smoking policy anywhere in the hotel these days to match with all other places in Japan.

    The room layout is bad, a lot of waste spaces and necessary doors. It has tea set door, wardrobe door and bathroom doors.
