I've always stayed next door at the Alfaccio building. Decided to try Legatio this time and was pleasantly surprised. Similar layout but was way cheaper than the previous stay. I'll be coming back to this location again really soon.

The check-in process was annoying and took 10-15 minutes, which was way too long for an automated process. I had to re-enter my personal details into the tablet, and then the communication with the remote agent made it start over.
Otherwise, the room is very spacious and comfortable for two to three people, and there's a nice balcony overlooking the river. The restroom area was clean and had everything you needed.
The mattresses seemed very used or older, but they were sufficient for the one-night stay.
This place would be good for a longer-term stay.

The legatio is our go to place to stay when we travel to Fukuoka. It’s convenient to everything and the room is comfortable. No stress staying here. We will be back.

The hotel has no human workers. The check in process is on line.
The room was very large by Japan standards. It has a full kitchen and laundry machine in the unit. No dryer but with the summer heat, line drying clothes was fine.
Furniture is basic but again, normal by Japan standards. Air conditioners worked well. Very good value for the price.
