Ruby Louise Hotel Frankfurt

Friendly staff, very good location

Rooms are nice designed but not comfortable; there are no closet or luggage racks in the rooms; it’s more of a hipster type of place; but the location is perfect, I’d go again to this hotel for its location but consider a larger room, the rooms are too small.

This is one of those ‘hip’ stripped-down places like Moxy. One shared iron in the ‘galley’ on the landing floor, no closet, no water, coffee, tea, kettle, phone or fridge in the room. No coffee provided in common areas. Self check-in at bar on 6th floor. Staff nice enough, good bar service, excellent location. Fine overall, but somewhere between a fancy hostel and an actual hotel. Will suit some better than others.

Excellent location. No cash hotel. No frills either. Room are good but no mini bar or refrigerator to cool drinks. Mo water bottle. Little to mo Amenities ie toothbrush shower cap etc. Its one of those hotel where everything are black color, hallways floors etc. The room are white You check in at the bar area on the 6th floor. Odd

Very nice hotel just know what to expect...not your traditional reception desk, the bar doubles as reception on the 6th floor, then off to your room which will have a glass cube for the shower, there is a curtain to pull round if you need privacy, the toilet is in a separate frosted glass cube, the basin is in the bedroom itself. The soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion all smell great. There is no tea and coffee in the room but in the galley on the ground floor is tea and coffee to make yourself. The hotel is an easy 6 stops and 20 minutes no changes needed from the airport get off at Hauptwacher station, the important thing is to get off the train and walk along the platform towards the back of the train, up the escalator then at an angle of 10 o clock go up the next escalator and you are outside, this is the nearest exit to the hotel and it is a few minutes walk to the entrance

It was mostly an online check in , there were staff there if you needed help. Room was very clean. Really neat atmosphere for the hotel.

Condition at hotel very good overall. Staff were very friendly & helpful, rooms were in good conditions, very comfortable beds. Very good breakfast, something for everyone. Great location near “Old Town”, a few minutes to S & U Bahn station. Walking distance to many of the tourist attractions, major shopping stores, restaurants & supermarkets. Would recommend this hotel.

The staff was very helpful and very friendly and the signage throughout the building itself is very uniquely done. Shower was terrific! Sink area in the main portion of the bedroom which did not see very practical. This was a very difficult location to find. With GPS there are no indicators of how you could actually drive to the front door of the hotel because there really is no front door. You might go down a little lane that leads to the bottom floor which is the door that you would take to go up to the sixth floor where reception is. It would be impossible to do that on a weekend evening as many people walk with in the street and it is a dead end so you must back out.You must go to a parking garage, there is no porter or valet service at this hotel. Having substantial luggage for this hotel is not optimal.

Great unique and friendly place to stay.

Newly renovated room. Clean and nice. Very good location. Close to shopping area. The only thing I don’t like is the reception located on the 6th floor. And there is a few steps to go down before the elevator. Some car service don’t comes in the alley (hotel entrance)

We stayed for two nights at this reasonably priced, fairly new, and centrally located hotel in Frankfurt. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. The reason is simple: while the design appears modern and well thought-out, the actual execution is very poor. The hotel is severely understaffed, leaving the few employees in the 6th-floor bar responsible for nearly everything apart from cleaning. As a result, there is little time left to attend to the needs of the guests. Check-in must be done digitally at the bar, and when it comes to parking, staff can only vaguely suggest that there “might be an agreement somewhere.” There is no phone in the room, and no one available to provide assistance when trying to figure out how things work. The breakfast buffet is largely empty unless you arrive early, and the limited staffing conditions mean that any questions or requests for help are either ignored or met with visible stress. It is a shame, because this hotel has the potential to be a hidden gem in Frankfurt – but at present, it is far from that. I rarely write negative reviews, but in this case, it is necessary. The hotel urgently needs to create a better structure to support its staff so that they, in turn, can support their guests. As it stands, one is more likely to leave with frustration and stress than with satisfaction.

Pros • Central location • Stylish design in common areas Cons • Poor service and communication: We weren’t told about major street closures for the Frankfurt Triathlon, which directly impacted our checkout timing. On top of that, a maintenance worker showed up at our door unannounced one day to install a peephole. No warning, no explanation. • Noise issues: Doors slam loudly throughout the floor, and construction noise from the neighboring building continues despite earlier guest complaints. No earplugs, no heads-up, no gesture. • Housekeeping skipped: Even though we didn’t opt out, our room was not cleaned daily. • “Lean” amenities: Communal hot water tap isn’t hot enough; coffee tasted bad. No kettle, phone or minibar in the room.

Stayed for one night to enjoy Frankfurt. Location was excellent and the hotel is really nice - friendly staff, easy check in, our room were functional, clean and beautifully designed. The hotel also has a rooftop bar that we enjoyed. Walking distance to many of Frankfurt's attractions.
