The hotel was beautiful and the view from my room absolutely outstanding. The breakfast was good. The staff were absolutely fantastic. We were there during the heatwave and there was no a/c, which I don't blame the hotel for, but it definitely impacted our experience on the hottest days of the year. The bar staff were always cheerful when I asked them for yet another pint full of ice (thanks, guys!!), but I wish that there was a more consistent concierge presence at the front desk.

Pros: location, views
Cons: service, lack of amenities, non functioning TV (channels jammed, casting malfunctioning) virtually no water pressure in the shower, soaps not replenished

Hotel Nepomuk is a beautiful historic hotel located close to everything. We were able to walk and visit beautiful shops and had delicious food in Bamberg. We had a perfect view out our windows. The beds were comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
