The staff was very friendly and helpful made sure my friend and I had everything we needed…room was clean and in good shape conveniently located to dining, gas stations and where I needed to be for the business I was I town for I’ll definitely stay there again

A no-frills rest area in Versailles, MO. Somewhat limited room numbers (expansion is on the way, along with presumed upgrades to everything) and sparse accommodations could force a traveler to overlook the most important aspect of the stay: a comfy bed. They have a lot of these. Think 'best sleep you've had in weeks' kinda vibe. At the time of my recent stay here I had been on the road for quite a bit and the bed comfort level exceeded that of some $150-$300 rooms I had stayed at for work.
If you have business in Versailles or slightly North/East or West of town, feel free to avoid the resort trappings of the lake to get a power sleep in to move on to the rest of your week. If you're looking into additional accommodations outside of decent coffee/clean room/comfy bed you will need to stay outside of town.
