The Old Colliery Stables

was able to park just in front of stable room work is in progress at the property so didnt look its best on the outside,inside was fab we had everything we needed plus extras like fridge ,toaster,microwave plenty of plates mugs dishes good drinks making equipment,single beds were comfy and spotless,tv was a bit confusing but we managed in the end,we had a lot of noise on the 2 nd evening and early morning could have been the workmen🙄 the royal oak pub is extremely welcoming drinks and meals very good,all in all good value for money our dog was made really welcome i would recommend as a comfortable budget friendly stopover to visit a lovely part of the country a friendly welcome and a relaxed atmosphere,

The property was ok you get what it says on the Tin Stay was fine people were friendly and someone go to sleep with parking. Lovely location to go for walks had a good stay.

Staff very helpful and dylan was a plesure to meet made our stay excellent

Another great stay at The Royal Oak pub only this time in one of the chalets. Great that There was a fridge & microwave ans I used both ! Sonia & Ian are a lovely couple and it was great to see them again . They have themed nights at the pub and I hope to be going back soon to sample 👌
