    You would think for a hotel with this price, the service would be better. We booked a quadruple room (1 double bed and 2 single beds) and at checking, the receptionist said the booking. was for 4 single beds and there wasn’t an available room that has the double bed. Anyway, the room was very small for 4 people, so we moved to a family connecting room that smelt musty and horrible. Turns out, one of the room’s walls was covered with BLACK MOLD that the hotel covered with wallpaper. BLACK MOLD IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS and they put us in that room completely okay with us sleeping in a room full of mold. We moved to another quadruple room that has a double bed, which means the receptionist lied in the beginning. One of the mattresses was flimsy and the reception again lied by saying there are no other empty rooms available to switch the mattresses, only to find out later there were empty rooms that had same size mattresses. Yes the location was perfect, in the heart of Rome, but the disgusting room that we had to endure and the bad service after that completely overlapped the good things. The staff at the restaurant and bar were very nice and welcoming though.
