Villino Corbelli

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was a charming place, clean and perfect for our stay. It was right next to a metro station so this was super convenient. The owner was so helpful and friendly. Two things to be aware of: 1. This is a small property with 3 rooms. The owner therefore does not automatically cater for dietary allergies/requirements. He was happy to get alternative breakfast when we told him my mum had a dairy allergy but we decided to get things ourselves to make sure it was to my mum’s taste. The breakfast is generous, but it is a simple, cold buffet. There is no cooked breakfast. The croissant were delightful! If you have dietary allergies/requirements, tell them in advance. 2. The property is a beautiful, traditional house. There are steps from the street to the house as it is set on a small hill. It is about 3 stories above the street level. This was no issue for me, but my mum has a painful knee. She still managed, if one of your party has any mobility issues, so consider this. Once inside there are only one or two steps at the entrance. This really is a peaceful gem set within the city of Rome. It has a beautiful garden and when inside it doesn’t feel like you are in a city but a little villa in the countryside. I would stay here again if I was coming with anyone other than my mum for the above reasons.

The place is very homey and the perfect place to relax. The people there were very kind, friendly and helpful when I asked for tips for travelling to and from places.

Nice place for a quick stay but not close to many landmarks and not a great place to find food.

The cornettos every morning and availability of coffee and snacks was great because there are a high set of steps from the sidewalk that make you be conservative with leaving the room for things like that. The room was absolutely lovely. Great view of the garden from beautiful windows. Comfortable foam mattress and room made each and every day. Nearby we found the asian food and kebob place tasty and reasonably priced in a 3 minute walk. Location couldnt be better for catching bus or metro!! Concho d'oro stop.
