The place is clean and well managed. Remote staff is helpful and responsive.
The location from Hakata Station can walk or via bus. It is Abt 15 mins walk.
Area is quiet at night. Hotel among a local neighbourhood.
It is also walking distance to Canal City Hakata.

we’ve been travelling for over 4 months and this is the best accommodation that we’ve stayed it. It was spacious, well appointed, very clean and had comfortable beds. The check in process is done on an IPad which was very easy to do. We extended our stay, we sent an email and they replied very quickly. It was in a great spot with lots of convenience stores and restaurants near by. 15 - 20 mins to the main station. There are 3 Grand Base hotels so make sure you put the full address in Google. Would whole heartedly recommend.

The studio was incredibly spacious compared to standard Japanese hotels, giving us plenty of room to move.
The in-room kitchenette & washing machine were good for a week-long trip, toilet with hot air circulation great to dry clothes. The self-check-in was straightforward, and the location is a quiet, but please expecting about 20 minute walk from Hakata Station and Canal City, among the local neighbourhood.

Hygiene Issues: The carpet felt grimy, there was dust on the bed, and we found a used face mask by the nightstand.
Kitchen/Amenities: Very disappointing. All the cookware was heavily scratched and unusable. No kids' cutlery or dish rack.
Storage: No wardrobe or clothes rack available.
The Silver Lining: Aside from the dust, the bedding and sheets were perfectly clean.
