I was transferred to Friends of mine hotel becasue the hotel was fully booked by the time i arrived. Therefore i did not experience Secret Garden. The service at Friends of mine hotel was excellent.

The property attracts an eclectic grouping of travelers who are warm and friendly.
The property also has a lovely first-floor verandah with a bar and lounge that is shaded by trees and a great place to meet other travelers.
Lovely views of Mt Kilimanjaro from the verandah.

I really enjoyed my stay. This is a discount B&B with good service and spacious rooms. If you haven't been to Moshi yet, this hotel is slightly out of the town center. I would urge you to avoid the town center - it is really noisy and the air isn't good. On hot Tanzanian days, these things matter. The Secret Garden is adjacent to an open field and it is quiet. Also, the owner Daudi is an interesting person - ask him to tell you the story of this property - it's quite interesting!
