    at 23:00, I ordered 1 "Pho" with chicken meat. Too delicious.

    We had a stay at Sheraton Hai Phong last weekend. At check-in, although our booking clearly stated 3 guests and included a request for 1 king bed, the female front desk staff still insisted on charging an additional VND *** for a king-bed room. This was surprising because I had already paid the extra fee for the third person (VND *** ). We did not request an extra bed — only one king bed for three guests. However, she continued to insist on the surcharge for changing from a twin to a king-bed room. Fortunately, Mr. *** stepped in and resolved the issue, and I was very satisfied with his attitude and professionalism. Unfortunately, the situation did not end there. When we checked in and entered the room, it had been set up for only two guests. I called the front desk, and a housekeeping staff member named *** came up with 01 bottle of water and 01 set of amenities. I was extremely disappointed by her attitude. When I asked why the room was not set up for 03 guests despite the additional fee I had paid, she responded, “I didn’t receive any information.” I could have understood if she genuinely had not been informed, but what shocked me was that she did not offer a single apology and even asked us, “Is there anything else missing?” I'd like to ask: does Sheraton Hai Phong not have a room setup checklist? Why would a staff member ask the guests what else is missing instead of ensuring the room is properly prepared? I believe Ms. Trang needs further training on attitude and communication with guests. Later, Mr. *** came to apologize and explained the miscommunication between Front Office and Housekeeping. I understand that mistakes happen. However, the way Ms. *** continued to argue with us over each point was unacceptable. I have stayed at this hotel before and had good experiences, so I was quite surprised by what happened this time.
