Spacious unit. Newer building with nice amenities and secure parking. Building was quiet and peaceful, even though it is adjacent to a university. We enjoyed the space and the location. The unit is modern inside and nicely furnished We appreciated the detailed check in instructions. The only minor negative is that the unit could use a thorough deep cleaning and some touch up paint in the bedroom. Faux plants , light fixtures, interior of medicine cabinet and the shower caddies/curtain could use cleaning for dust, soap scum, etc. these issues are all typical for a rental and should not deter anyone from considering a stay with Kasa.

Excellent property with terrific rooftop patio and pool that is actually decent for lapswimming early mornings! Apartment was comfortable, clean and spacious with modern vibe. Super convenient to SCU and Cal Train.

This place is very nice and clean. The rooftop pool is great. Just as others commented, there are codes to remember and the pull out couch is not meant to be slept on. It’s all springs. I booked a place that is supposed to sleep four. I put my two kids on the floor on mats. The sleeper sofa is terrible. The apartment is really nice.

To be clear this is not a hotel but basically a sublease of apartments. So there is no onsite support should you have issues like we had. You enter and leave through the parking garage and need to enter a 7 digit code 4 different times to get into parking, the elevator, the floor etc as well as another door code for the apartment. Our key card did not work and the support staff were not able to fix this after we waited for them to come recode our key card ( they never came despite telling us they would). So we just parked on the street and dealt with the tedious entry of multiply codes. The apt was fine but if you need to use the pull out couch it is very uncomfortable so be warned. The mattress is thin and the metal springs are very prominent . It was not made up and the sheets in the closet were wet ( yes, folded and put away wet). We just dried them in the dryer before putting them on the pullout bed. So overall, I would not recommend the Kasa University-airport. It is close to the SCU campus but I’d rather be a little further away and not have to deal with the lack of support and multiple codes.

The place is great, but it took over an hour to check in and my senior citizen father and mother had to take pictures of themselves (front and side), give them a picture of their license (front and back) and needed a lanyard to open doors and go down the elevator. Also, they were on hold for a long time and the assistance in checking in was not organized. This process needs to be tightened up.

When I booked this apartment, it was advertised as a hotel with a virtual front desk. It is NOT a hotel. It is a private apartment complex with dogs, piano teachers, and young people living life. If you need help with something, good luck. Our coffee maker didn't function. The Kasa chatbot told me to fill out an online form. I did and never received a follow-up. The Good: The apartment was spotless, quiet, and within walking distance of SCU and a few nice restaurants. There is public EV charging in the Retail parking spaces for $0.25/kWH. Charging is free in the SCU garage if you are visiting there. There is a gorgeous rooftop pool with two lap lanes plus a hot tub and loads of space to gather. The linens were soft. The Bad: The king bed was squeaky - don't sneeze or roll over if you plan to sleep through the night. Accessing the building was complicated (for good reason - they need to protect tenants). But be warned, if you are tired after a long day of travel or not tech-savvy, it can be difficult to get into the building. There is a 7-digit code that must be entered quickly - either have it memorized or have someone read it to you as you enter it, or it will time out. You will have another 4-digit code to access your apartment. After you get in, there is a key card for the elevator and exterior doors. It works well. There is also an app, but it's spotty, so a second card would be better.

It's an entire apartment with everything you need. We like everything about the virtual "front desk" checking you in/out with clear instructions. The roof top gym and swimming pool is serene and beautiful. Definitely will stay again when we are back in the area
