    We have travelled in Vietnam for 8 weeks and stayed at 12 hotels. We stayed at L Gem for 7 nights and it was by far the winner for us. We liked the location, lots of local eateries nearby, easy to get to everywhere, and much quieter than other parts of Hoi An. The staff were always professional and caring but never too much. The hotel is modern, stylish and well designed. Our room, a deluxe double had a huge bed which was incredibly comfortable and amazing pillows. It was spacious and had everything we needed, fridge, kettle, hairdryer etc. we didn’t use the bath but it was a lovely bathroom and shower. The pool was never too hot, the sunsets were amazing and happy hour was generous. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and all fresh with a spacious restaurant to enjoy it in. Bikes were great, we used them a few times and I had two spa treatments, also good. We had such a great stay, wish we had another week there. Maybe air con in the reception/breakfast areas could be on more often as it was stifling hot at times which prevented us from wanting to sit in the bar area but that was very minor. Five stars! 🌟
