Our stay at Komune was honestly the worst experience we’ve had in Bali. First, the photos on Agoda are extremely misleading. What’s advertised as a beachfront, pool-view experience is not what you actually get. The room we were given was tiny and felt nothing like what was shown online. For the price you’re paying, it’s seriously underwhelming, this ended up being the most expensive yet smallest hotel room we’ve stayed in across Bali. What made things worse was how the situation was handled. When we raised the issue, the GM simply blamed Agoda. That’s not acceptable, if you’re listing on a platform, it’s your responsibility to ensure the information is accurate. Guests shouldn’t have to deal with that disconnect. Another frustrating point: they don’t allow Grab pickups, claiming it’s to “protect the local community.” But when we asked about their own transport options, they were charging nearly 5x what a Grab would cost. It’s hard not to feel like this policy is more about making extra money off guests than anything else. In the end, we had to walk ourselves out to the main road in the scorching heat just to get a ride. Not exactly the kind of experience you expect when staying at a place like this. Overall, very disappointing and not worth the price.

Stayed here for 3days 2 nights. It was a relaxing short stay. The resort is almost like an island on its own. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There are so many amenities within the resort - Spa, gym, pool, cold & hot bath, beach club and more. It is like an adventure to explore the area. Food at the beach club is great too. Great escape out of the bustling city.

Overpriced for small room. You can a lot better value at other resorts. Its popular due to famous surf break. Nice grounds and great staff. Lacks a proper restaraunt as its all outdoor eating which is ok but it rains a lot in Bali so no good when it rains. Food is good though. Resort is more expensive than most in Bali but this is due to it being right on the surf break. Ok place but not great.
