Warren House Hotel

I had a old plaster on my bed cover and the outside window was outside the bins i can hear them filling up the bins and empty bottles in them it start at 7.30 am .had a ok breakfast not a great one food can be hotter and bread bit softer but the staff are very nice and helpful 👍

I would recommend this quiet and lovely hotel which is tucked away in a lush and leafy area which is perfect for a short getaway.

We booked two rooms, no effort was made to put us anywhere near each other. Twin beds were requested but not acknowledged or fulfilled. One room was tiny with very low ceilings and the other much larger but had a view of the bins from one window and the industrial kitchen extractor the other. The extractor was really noisy and our room absolutely stank of whatever was currently being cooked (curry during the day) as the vent pipe was just outside the window! Kitchen staff were shouting to each other outside the other window until midnight and throwing glass into the recycling. Neither of us got any sleep whatsoever. Windows are single pane and the frames are covered in mould. There are quirky areas in the hotel that are absolutely beautiful and given quite a few million this hotel could be absolutely incredible. Unfortunately in its current state it is far from that. Plus the pool is permanently closed and the gym wasn’t open either.

The carpet in the room is so worn off and dirty I put a small bag on top of the wardrobe,big mistake,when I took it from there had so much dust on it had to wash it,that dust haven’t clean for at least 6 months.Apart from that shower and breakfast is the only things that stand out.
