Very clean well maintained rooms. It was negative 20 below degrees outside and probably negative 30 below with the wind chill factor and the desk clerk made us go back outside and to the side of the building to get our license plate number. Really! Lets use some common sense on a night like last night. We had the description of our truck and I am absolutely positive NO ONE was checking cars that night and if they were they were a fool. We are Marriott members and we have never been asked for ohr plate number before.

I had a wonderful and peaceful stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Shakopee while accompanying my daughter for the week. She stayed with me for one night and spent the rest of her time out with friends, which gave me the perfect quiet environment to focus on my osteopathic studies, write research papers, and complete assignments.
The room was extremely clean, bright, and comfortable, with plenty of space and good lighting—great for studying. The bathroom was spotless and well maintained. Parking was very easy, and the hotel’s location made it simple to get anywhere I needed to go.
Breakfast every morning was excellent, with bacon, eggs, sausage, oatmeal with toppings, and very good coffee. It was a perfect start to my study days.
I enjoyed the pool for quick breaks, and ordering in through DoorDash and Uber Eats was simple and convenient. Some days I studied in the lobby, which was peaceful and comfortable. The hotel also has a computer and printer available, which made it easy to print study materials and important documents.
The staff truly made the stay even better. The gentleman who checked me in was incredibly friendly, charming, and welcoming. Jason at the front desk greeted both me and my daughter warmly, gave us great food recommendations, and shared helpful tips about places to visit. His humor and excellent customer service made us feel right at home.
