The hotel rooms are comfortable, clean, well equipped (even a desk), but not exceptionally big though still leaving a cozy feeling. The views from the room over the 'Vättern' is fabulous and entices someone to get up ... The breakfast buffet is alright and could be improved with a proper coffee machine; more bread choices could be offered but it's still a well prepared and wide ranged buffet overall, for everyone to find something; and during breakfast, maybe play non-classical music for a change, to eclectically mix old and new :) The staff is super helpful and friendly. The overall stay was definitely worth it and (for golfers) gives access to most beautiful courses in the surrounding.

This is a hotel built in 1935 so has so beautiful architecture inside such as the downstairs chapel. There are new room additions which are spacious and have stunning views of the lake.
The menu was limited but food was delicious. Breakfast was excellent with a large variety of options available.

Stunning views of the lake from the terrace. The food was delicious but the menu is limited. The staff were all most pleasant.
The hotel has an old fashioned family feel.
