Pros: Great location - near town, on the beach Nice pool on the beach Good restaurant on the beach (Princess Restaurant) Friendly staff Cute kitties everywhere Cons: Although we appreciate it’s eco-friendly, you should know: There is no electricity without your (only) key in the interior slot, and their water is from a/c runoff. This means a) no A/C running while you’re gone, b) towels are always wet, c) warm water lasts 4-7 minutes, and d) your devices won’t charge when you’re out of the room. Room is smelly from mildew. Mattresses are hard as a rock. Overpriced given all the above. We paid $150/night, which is admittedly a “bargain” for Phi Phi in November, but come on.

Was a nice place to stay on the beach nice pool great location clean. The reason i took a star off was, they have these beach beds by the pool the second i sat at one the staff member came and demanded 1000 baht cash to sit there and it was the way he demanded and assumed i would know to pay for something that is a part of the hotel im staying at. Was very rude in his delivery it was off putting and it pissed me off.

PP Princess is a gem, perfect location right on the beach. Great villas. Close to everything but far away enough not to be disturbed by the cool beach bar clubs next door.. so calm and comfortable.. if you like cats, there is a bonus.. the hotel cats are well cared for and they are adorable.

Breakfast was great. Room was great, but was not cleaned spotlessly like I've come to expect. Glass windows were dirty, glass mirrors were streaky, furniture in the room was noticeably stained. Hard water stains on the sink and in the shower, on the soap bottles, etc. Leaves and debri floating in the plunge pool. They need to spend another 20 minutes on the room before turning it over to the guests, and invest in a steam cleaner to get stains out of furniture. Beds were hard but manageable. Bar noise was audible but not really that big of a deal.

Not worth the price. Molds everywhere and not clean. You’ll be shocked. Picture doesn’t match actual at all. The only thing good is the pool and that too will cost you 1,000 baht consumable for the good location.

Not the best hotel I’ve stayed in and pretty expensive for Thailand but I understand that islands are always a bit more! They don’t warn you but they ask for a 1000 baht deposit in cash, so make sure you bring extra. The pool is lovely but the food and drinks are expensive and the staff are very apathetic. Once they cleaned our room but didn’t replace the bin liner or the toilet paper so I had to go down and get some more! We stayed in the deluxe room which was very nice but I have heard the cheaper rooms are much worse so that is worth considering. Also despite being in the hotel you need to pay extra to use the gym which is ludicrous, and some sunbeds have a minimum 1000 baht spend which is also a little ridiculous - adding tiers to a hotel I’ve already paid to stay in. However overall I felt safe and the location is excellent so worked well for what we needed.

The resort is connected through multiple entrances from the beach or the main street, food was alright, bed is a little bit on the hard side, and can get a little bit load because my room was next to some stairs and guests tend to roll their heavy luggage bags down those stairs so another positive because you'll wake up early for your trips, also didn't have to wait to check in although I arrived 2 hours before check in time which is always nice, thanks PP Princess resort for the hospitality.

Property itself was quite disappointing, they charge you 1000thb on arrival to cover deposit (which we did get back). The room was quite worn and clearly needed updating, the bathroom was unpleasant, it is beyond me why anyone would put a urinal in a hotel room! The bed was extremely hard and neither of us were able to sleep. The beach area where you eat breakfast is stunning and a great location. Felt overall it was over priced and I wouldn’t stay there again.

Some areas are a little tired , the pool and pool bar are excellent , the breakfast is limited on choice and generally cooked food was cold . Location is really good and we enjoyed our stay .

The villa with its own pool access was exceptional. The staff and the service were attentive, very effective and allowed for an excellent experience in the hotel and on the island. The "house music" was appeciated and enjoyable. If you want an "in town" experience only minutes from the hub of the centre this is the hotel to stay. If you need anything, ask the hotel team they can get you whatever you need.
