The property offers a good level of cleanliness and friendly staff, making for a pleasant atmosphere. While the Wi-Fi is reliable and the amenities are solid, airport access could be improved, and hot water availability was inconsistent during my stay. The location is walkable, which is a plus, but overall, there are areas that could benefit from some enhancements to elevate the experience.

Our stay in hostel Malti was short (just one night) but nice. The first thing although we booked the same day we arrived and came at about 11 PM super nice staff member explained showed and explained us everything very fast. The private room we got was clean with nice new bathroom. It was nice and quiet to sleep through the night.
If you stay longer than 10 hours or so maybe it would be better to choose a room or accommodation with better view but for this kind of situation (one night stay) the room was rather good deal for the money

If you reserve it late then you’ll be unable to check in until 8pm. Once we finally did check in we were given a different room to advertised (we booked a double bed with air conditioning and were given twin beds with no air conditioning or even a fan). Hostel staff repeatedly told us it is what we’d booked and didn’t acknowledge there had been some kind of administrative fault. I had to show him the booking on my phone before he even conceded we’d booked on Agoda (before that he was insisting that we’d booked on booking.com). Clearly something rogue happened in the system and our room was no longer available but equally frustrating to have to deal with unhelpful staff and be offered no compensation for 8pm check in and being given a different room. Can’t recommend.
