Very nice little bed and breakfast in the peaceful village of Verduno, near La Morra, Barolo etc. Nice little house with a garden and a pool. It's in good shape with very friendly service, one woman was checking us in and taking care of us during breakfast. We were there with only one another room so we had the place more or less to ourself. Nothing fancy or luxurious but a nice B&B! Just next door to the restaurant Il falstaff which was recommended by several but we chose Trattoria dai bercau just a few streets away, very good. Otherwise, not much of activity in Verduno. A small wine bar by the church.

All rooms face the courtyard, so each time someone returns in the evening you will be woken up. There is a cellar that you get a key to that has wine, water bottles and soda. They don't say but there is a fee for each of these. There is a price list on the table, but it was not pointed out. I figured it was not free, but she didn't even mentioned the fees. This is the countryside so very little English spoken. The town has three restaurants, all open for dinner only. Must make reservations ahead of time. It is a short drive to the other towns that have something going on. There are one or two wineries in Verduno, again plan ahead.
